What moves the price
For bin, the drivers are capacity, material, locking mechanism, wall-mounted or recessed, refill format, chemical compatibility, lid type, UN rating — the same item can land at either end of the band depending on how those are specified.
For small and mid-scale industrial plastic bins, published wholesale pricing is dominated by commodity stackable/storage-bin listings, with very low FOB prices on Chinese trade sites and higher U.S. distributor pricing on shelf-bin and tote channels. Realistic routes are direct import/OEM from Made-in-China/Alibaba suppliers for custom printing and color changes, or U.S. industrial distributors for faster delivery but materially higher prices. Price moves most with mold complexity, wall thickness/capacity, pallet base or wheels, and whether the bin is a light-duty parts bin versus a heavy-duty bulk container.
