Identification Card: wholesale price
A typical US business buyer pays a median of $1.25 per unit at small order quantities, falling to $0.35 at volume, on a typical 14-day lead time. These medians come from published supplier pricing. Treat them as a starting point for a sourcing conversation rather than a binding quote.

What moves the price
For identification card, the drivers are card stock, lamination, wallet size, write-on area, double sided print, custom fields, water resistance, serial numbering — the same item can land at either end of the band depending on how those are specified.
Real supplier pricing is most often published for blank PVC ID cards, custom-printed employee badges, or access-card programs rather than a single universal SKU. The biggest price drivers are whether the card is blank vs. printed, whether lamination or a protective wipeable coating is included, and whether variable data like barcode/numbering is added; hole punching and single- vs double-sided printing are commonly bundled with little or no extra charge by some suppliers, but not all. For realistic US-facing sourcing, the main routes are ID-card specialists and wholesale badge vendors for small-to-mid runs, and OEM/import channels for very large runs where landed-equivalent pricing can approach the low end of the band.
