What this covers

Wise Merch respects intellectual property rights and expects the same from everyone using Chisel. This policy covers catalog and supplier images or descriptions shown in Chisel, and any files, artwork, or logos users submit with a quote request.

Reporting infringement

Send notices to hello@wisemerch.com. For a notice to be actionable it needs: your signature (physical or electronic); identification of the copyrighted work; where the infringing material sits on Chisel (a URL, screenshot, or item name is enough for us to find it); your contact details; a good-faith statement that the use isn’t authorized; and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and you’re authorized to act for the copyright owner.

What we do with a valid notice

We review it, remove or disable access to the identified material, notify the user who submitted it where that applies, and keep a record of what we did.

Counter-notices

If your material was removed by mistake or misidentification, send a counter-notice with your signature, what was removed and where it lived, a statement under penalty of perjury of your good-faith belief it was a mistake, your contact details, and consent to the jurisdiction of your district’s federal court. We may restore the material within 10 to 14 business days unless the original complainant files a court action first.

Repeat infringers

We terminate access for repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
